Cosmetic Dentistry     Smile Design

Many patients come to see us saying they don’t like their smile, but unsure what exactly it is that they would like to change. Your dentist, Keith, has a simple and effective smile philosophy: “I look at patients’ overall smile as a component of their face. It’s about ratios, the shape of the face, age, gender, complexion and many other factors. Improving a smile can really change a face,” he explains.

Keith will look at your smile and work to optimise the standard components of a beautiful smile, including gum level; dental arch form; the position, size and colour of your teeth; and how your teeth bite together. The aim is to maximise all these key components to produce a smile with a natural appearance and a symmetrical, balanced aesthetic. He will then discuss all the treatment options available to you, including the advantages and disadvantages of any treatments, to find the best solutions that fit both your smile, lifestyle and budget.

We provide a range of cosmetic dental treatments, and depending on your individual needs, recommended treatments could include:

Porcelain Veneers

Dental veneers are very thin slivers of porcelain that fit over your upper front teeth. They are similar in concept to false fingernails, and can be used to disguise problems such as crowded or gappy teeth, chips, cracks and colour changes.

Bridges

Dental veneers are very thin slivers of porcelain that fit over your upper front teeth. They are similar in concept to false fingernails, and can be used to disguise problems such as crowded or gappy teeth, chips, cracks and colour changes.

Crowns

Crowns, sometimes called caps, are used to cover and protect damaged or worn teeth, and to strengthen teeth that have been weakened by a large filling or root canal treatment. They improve the strength, appearance and shape of your teeth and look like natural teeth.
